Basilisks are self-propelled artillery tanks, armed with a fearsome earthshaker cannon. Able to keep pace with infantry advances – their barrels levelled for direct fire – or deploy to rear positions from which they unleash relentless shelling, Basilisks are amongst the most numerous of the Imperial Guard’s ordnance tanks. A shrieking barrage of shells from this renowned tank can smash apart both infantry and armour with frightening ease.
This multipart plastic kit builds one Basilisk – a formidable artillery piece with a long-barrelled earthshaker cannon. The Basilisk also sports a hull-mounted heavy bolter or heavy flamer, and can optionally be upgraded with a dozer blade, hunter-killer missile and armoured tracks. The Basilisk's cannon can be assembled gluelessly, allowing you to adjust its angle of fire, and features a firing platform to its rear, with components to build a gunner with a choice of heads and arms.
The kit includes a number of other accessories to customise your vehicle, including bedrolls, entrenching gear, a spotlight, spare fuel, hatch options, and aquila sigils.
This kit comprises 117 plastic components, and is supplied with an Astra Militarum Vehicle Transfer Sheet featuring tactical markings, numerals, and other regimental heraldry. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
